One hundred and seventy years since the birth of Spyridon Peresiadis (Mesorougi, Achaea, 1854), one hundred and thirty-one since the presentation of his play "Golfo" (Akrata, 1893), and thirty years since the founding and opening of the Akrata Municipal Art Gallery "Zoe Psarrou," the 1st Golfo Festival 2024 is implementing its first action, in collaboration with the Municipal Art Gallery, having jointly commissioned Marios Spiliopoulos, an artist and professor at the Athens School of Fine Arts, who is originally from Akrata, to organize and curate a group exhibition dedicated to Spyridon Peresiadis' "Golfo."
