As part of the 1st Golfo Festival 2024, it has been decided to publish the complete works of Spyridon Peresiadis, thus offering readers the opportunity to access the author's books, which are difficult to find today.

The play “Golfo” is the first of Peresiadis' books to be published in a typographically and aesthetically refined edition, which includes, in addition to the cover, six other black-and-white compositions by the artist Eleanna Martino, created especially for this purpose.

The new edition of the play “Golfo” is based on the editions by Michail I. Saliveros (1904), Papadimitriou-Astir (1971), but mainly on the edition by the Cultural Association of Akrata " The Renaissance" (1993) and Livani Publications (2003), both edited and glossed by Anastasios M. Georgantopoulos, who in turn relied on the edition by G.D. Fexis Publications (1915). Golfo was also published by Xyganou Publications (1906), Keravnos Publications (1929), and 4E Publications (1993).

For this new edition, the current simplified form of the original text (in terms of spelling) was chosen, which nevertheless retains the polytonic character a long-standing tradition of Greek writing, to which the author of the work also belongs. A few minor omissions have been filled in and certain oversights in previous editions have been corrected. The work is presented in a complete and readable form to readers, theater lovers, and the academic community.
