On the occasion of the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the birth of the Greek composer Mikis Theodorakis (1925-2025), and in frame of the Austrian-Greek Music Summer 2025, an initiative of the Austrian Embassy in Athens, the 2^nd Golfo Festival in collaboration with the Centre for Music - Culture "Hellenikon Idyllion", and the Theatre Laboratory of Drama & Speech (ESPLo) of the Department of Theatre Studies - University of Patras, organize in Patras, Akrata, and Selianitika three concerts - tributes to Mikis Theodorakis, with three parallel musical references to Franz Schubert.

“Golfo’s Monologues” emerged from the Playwriting Workshop of the Department of Theatre Studies as a creative dialogue between young writers and Spyridon Peresiadis. Through the lens of the monologue, these writers reached across time to encounter Golfo—both as she once was and as she might exist today.

Idyphon Publications, based in Aigio, has released a new edition (not a reprint) of the theatrical play Golfo by Spyridon Peresiades, with philological editing by Irini Pampouki and artwork by Eleanna Martinou.
