IDYFON Publications, based in Aigio, present the new edition (not a reprint) of the play Golfo by Spyridon Peresiadis to the Athenian book-loving public.

IDYPHON Publications, based in Aigio, has released a new edition (not a reprint) of the theatrical play Golfo by Spyridon Peresiadis, with philological editing by Irini Pampouki and artwork by Eleanna Martinou.

"Golfo’s Monologues" was born out of a playwriting workshop at the Department of Theatre Studies, University of Patras, as a dialogue between young people and the Spyridon Peresiadis' play Golfo. Using the monologue form, the young writers—through their own perspectives—sought to find the heroine Golfo in both the past and the present.

The Centre for Music - Culture "Hellenikon Idyllion", the Golfo Festival, and the Municipality of Xylokastro - Evrostini are co-organizing an engaging musical event in the Municipal Theater “Angelos Sikelianos", Xylokastro, on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at 21:00, with free admission.

On the occasion of the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the birth of the Greek composer Mikis Theodorakis (1925-2025), and in frame of the Austrian-Greek Music Summer 2025, an initiative of the Austrian Embassy in Athens, the 2^nd Golfo Festival in collaboration with the Centre for Music - Culture "Hellenikon Idyllion", and the Theatre Laboratory of Drama & Speech (ESPLo) of the Department of Theatre Studies - University of Patras, organize in Patras, Akrata, and Selianitika three concerts - tributes to Mikis Theodorakis, with three parallel musical references to Franz Schubert.
