IDYPHON Publications, based in Aigio, has released a new edition (not a reprint) of the theatrical play Golfo by Spyridon Peresiadis, with philological editing by Irini Pampouki and artwork by Eleanna Martinou.


Golfo's Monologues - Theatrical performance

"Golfo’s Monologues" was born out of a playwriting workshop at the Department of Theatre Studies, University of Patras, as a dialogue between young people and the Spyridon Peresiadis' play Golfo. Using the monologue form, the young writers—through their own perspectives—sought to find the heroine Golfo in both the past and the present.

On the occasion of the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the birth of the Greek composer Mikis Theodorakis (1925-2025), and in frame of the Austrian-Greek Music Summer 2025, an initiative of the Austrian Embassy in Athens, the 2nd Golfo Festival in collaboration with the Centre for Music - Culture "Hellenikon Idyllion", and the Theatre Laboratory of Drama & Speech (ESPLo) of the Department of Theatre Studies - University of Patras, organize in Patras, Akrata, and Selianitika three concerts - tributes to Mikis Theodorakis, with three parallel musical references to Franz Schubert.
